We're trying something new.

Having been in business for a number of years, we have seen one glaring need in our clients' servers. Much time is lost through forseeable problems with hardware. If a server crashes, it takes some amount of time for people to realize it. Once realized, there are often procedures attempted by onsite staff. When those fail, a call is made, schedules altered, and a technician is dispatched. At THAT point, hopefully, the repair can begin.

In all honesty, this type of work is lucrative. There can be a fee charged for emergency service, usually significantly higher than the normal billing rate. Many consulting firms prefer to take this route. The problem is that this punishes the client for calling with their problems. It incentivizes NOT making the call. What kind of technology partner would we be if we provided you with incentives to NOT call us?

What is the alternative? Proactive monitoring.

Sure, other firms provide it. For a fee, they'll come into your office, survey your equipment, and set up their monitoring software. Your server(s) will then start feeding data to the consulting firm, giving them the heads up when there are problems afoot in your server. You'll then have some sort of a monthly fee for the privilege of giving them this information. It's a much better alternative than the "crash and fix" method... But once a problem is discovered, aren't they also the ones that fix it? Don't they charge a fee for that fix?

We think there's a better way. We will come to your office, survey your equipment, set up the monitoring software and receive the data. We will do this for free.

Why would we do it for free? Simple. You need monitoring. We need clients. When a problem arises, we want to be the ones to fix it. It's really that straightforward. When a problem arises you will be notified and so will we. We will contact you asking permission to fix the problems we find, or we will set up an open engagement letter with you if you want us to just fix them without bothering you.

For the time being, we will establish a limit of two free servers per client. After that, we will ask for $20.00 per month per additional server purely to cover our costs. Trust us, we are NOT going to get rich that way. We're only setting this limit to defer costs in case this offer takes off beyond our wildest dreams. We do not anticipate ever charging for those first two servers - this is NOT intended as an introductory offer.

So please, take us up on the offer. Think of the money you will save, whether it's money for other consulting firms' monitoring offerings or the amount of money and time you will save from that next crash not happening. Give us a call or contact us, let's set up a free consultation and let's get to monitoring your system.
